I am Janna in the video. I have been at the job CHEFS placed me at for 5 years now and counting. Looking forward to the next step in my career which may include a Head Chef position in the near future...
Am extremely grateful to this program and to my former housemate, Fawn, who directed me here.

I used to help West Chumley at Next Door kitchen way back then. It was interesting to see a hair stylist like him cook professionally and also teaching homeless in SF how to become a successful cook. He taught my friend Linda who I believe became a professional baker immediately after graduating CHEFS Program at Canon Kip. Cooking responsibly is one of the greatest professions to have in any era, any culture.

I wish Canon Kip for many years of success and their alumni to keep coming back to encourage more students to take that path. I have mentioned about this program to many people but it was difficult to explain the beauty of it without a professional video. Now I can send this link to people around the world.

So many families come together after falling apart because of such programs. Please, if you have extra money, give generously. Every penny is used efficiently in this organization.

If you put the following words into the google box, you will get to their website. "CHEFS is a 12 month program that includes classroom instruction, hands-on kitchen training in institutional and restaurant settings, job counseling"
I am proud of all those that tried to make this through this program, even those that dropped out. Just come back again. Keep trying. Love you all! --- Yogi Bear
