This has been my favorite part of this film for about a quarter of a century!

I saw this film in 1984 in homevideo (Beta LOL) when I was like 9 or 10 years old and it scared the hell out of me. But the music was (and is) extremely beautiful. I still remember every little detail of the fragment from Logos that plays in the background during this scene. I think I will never forget it until the day I die...

@meldonlandless Is a fragment from a 45 minute long song called Logos Part 1. It lasts from minutes 20:00 to the 25:00. Here it is... watch?v=mm96sE8PkIk

Lutz and Grundstalt kinda looked a bit like Batman and Robin with their capes fluttering and the strong light bathing them. Of course back to the film itself, In the movie Lutz's seems to lose far more than just his head, (in the book) afterwards, i think his upper body is torn off, and his poor lackey gets killed instantly being hurled with great force at the wall

I'd like to know the name of this epic track...

I can't believe no one commented on this absolute cult brilliance. Dense, evil, driving, and psychotically powerful.
