  • Good cover song, but why is it that on every heavy metal video involving a chick is followed by sexist comments e.g. "she needs to get in the kitchen"? We have female lawyers, doctors and scientists, so why can't we have female metal musicians? There are guys who also "work in the kitchen" today. Obviously, MrPornogoregrinder is still living in the 1950's.

  • sorry. dont like it. the guitar dosnt capture the beast that is SLAYER!

  • Obviously you are not familiar with Maria, she can sing, she tours, u r full of bs, u making money singin', ok

  • @donnalander Because jokes exist.

  • @donnalander i disagree, usually modern metal bands fuck it up completely. just look at BFMVs covers of sanitarium and creeping death, sheer faggotry!

    then of course theres... this...

  • @sunnyjim98 (cont.) In this era, classic metal songs are often at their best when a modern metal band re-records it if they end up doing a good job overall. I mean, if a pop or hip-hop artist ended up covering this song, I guarantee it will be bigger crap compared to even a poorly done metal cover of it.

  • @sunnyjim98 What you choose to do with your voice has to have emotion and feelings with the song lyrics. Yes, even clean singing vocals would carry some kind of emotional feel. Since this song has dark, aggressive lyrics, the vocals would have to make it sound that way in order to make it a good song. And since this is a cover song, she can't just copy the original vocal style so she has to look at the lyrics from her own point of view.

  • @EmoLove1900 to scream like that? no. to scream like some good screamer vocalists, id say it takes a lot of talent. im not into this kind of music (i love the original) so dont bother asking me to name a few examples.

i dont sing. at all. well then again neither does this woman.

and even if i did sing, i would not want to sound like a slag vomiting into the mic.

  • @sunnyjim98 first of all it takes alot of talent to scream like that and if you cant scream like that i would shut up cause not everybody can do that and unless i hear you having your own music and band and your making a living in the music business you shouldnt be judging anyone

  • @donnalander which is exactly why they shouldnt do it >_>

what is the point in trying to scream or growl, when as you say it is much harder for a woman, who will almost never do it right? music is supposed to be good, not an exhibition of your own failure and shortcomings.

  • @sunnyjim98 Then you have no idea how much more difficult it is for girls to growl that low over guys due to hormones. She can't just make a simple growling noise, she also has to overpower all the instruments (which are naturally loud to begin with) and that's where the talent comes in. I've tried to growl like she does (and yes, I'm a woman) and it really made my throat hurt. Like singing or playing a musical instrument, all this takes lots of practice. So deal with it!

  • GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!
