The purple is NOT SPARTANS its HANNIBAL DUH and the red is the MONGOLIANS

easten infantary (his infantary) arent that bad they are very good for making caos in a hoplit formation but they cannont kill very skilled units even if you use 1000 vs 160 (fx. spartans) i do use tactics for attacking them from evry direction
the way to win whit them are
1st: a good general ( for moral and fighting capabiletis)
2nd: hav other units to kill them like persian cavalery or catapracs ( easten infantary are fixing unit NOT killing units !!!)
