  • Love Never dies has beautiful music...it is just the story is done very different than the original. If you are looking for the same thing, than no, you will not like it. However, keep an open mind and it is lovely

  • @llovett79 I decided to see it! I probably will go to Lodon in july (I'm from Brazil), and then I'll see it and Les Miserables! I wish I saw The phantom of the opera again, but I think I won't have time enough!

  • @llovett79 I have seen it, in London! And i love it!!! It was amazing!!

But it isn't supposed to be Hot and Sexy! It is a tragic love story not a "sexy guy likes a girl but she leaves him" story.

  • I love Michael Crawford & Sarah Brightman as people, they seem very, very humble to me to meet anywhere in this world!! :))

  • How in the world did this and a Trailer for the POTO25 Box set come up as a related video for deleted footage of Fabtasia (Disney)?

  • There's a part 1 to this clip, with Michael Crawford singing his part of the song. This is from the South Bank Show's ALW profile. It was a great episode, 90 minutes long, and had a LOT of clips from Lloyd Webber shows. I had this on VHS for the longest time.

  • i remember seeing this scene for the first time, crying at the phantom's reprisal of 'all i ask of you', than screaming 'BITCH!' when she took his mask off.i love this musical so much. :)

  • If I had the opportunity to take one trip in the tardis, out of all the planets in the galaxy and all the moments in history to choose from...I would go back the the eighties and see Phantom of the Opera in London with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman.

  • I can't keep an open mind about LND because I think the idea of it is stupid. POTO is a powerful, profound and touching musical because it's a tragedy - a heartbreaking tragedy. The music may be beautiful, but I could never separate it from the story it's telling - which is nonsensical. It ruins all the characters, including and especially the Phantom - that's just not appealing to me. The original can't be bettered.

  • @llovett79 The story didn't need to be done again, similarly or differently. When the Phantom sings, "It's over, now, the music of the night," ----it's over. Lloyd Webber would have been well advised to write his beautiful music about some other story instead of attempting to continue a story in the theater that had been so effectively finished there, but he wasn't interested in taking any advice. LND will never be anything but a poor shadow of the original.

  • even though he's not my first phantom to see, but surely he'll be my favourite phantom for all times

  • I don't like the way Sarah Brightman looks but she has a great voice.

  • 2:28 onwards... my favourite bit of Phantom. <3 So much.
