@thunderbird5898 Hey, thanks! The audition process is really basic and typical. We don't usually audition individually. It's more an ensemble-based audition for the bass drums here.. It's more fun than it is an audition really.
In terms of getting a spot - it'd be fairly difficult. 5 of us vets are coming back to the bassline for 5 spots, but our top bass spot tentatively open.. It's not just the summer line. Our winter ensemble OC Indoor is virtually the same bassline in terms of personnel.

@hweide dude, the OC line is sooooo sweet! I am a second year Bass captain at my high school in Austin, TX. What is the audition process like, and how hard is it to get a spot? Is it just during the summer like most lines? Thanks dude, it was wicked clean :)

@ajdoedens Thanks man. We're gonna bring in another title again this next year. Going to a better written and rehearsed solo since we didn't start this last one until mid-tour. Be on the look out for us in 2011 with both OC and OCI since they're virtually the same basslines. We all have plenty of years left too..
