Dark Horse es un álbum de estudio de George Harrison publicado en 1974, notable por servir de preludio a la única gira que realizaría Harrison por Norteamérica.

Los críticos rebautizaron el álbum con el nombre de "Dark Hoarse" (hoarse puede traducirse al español como ronco/a), en
referencia a su voz. Sin tiempo para sanar la laringitis, desarrolló la gira con una voz de lija que suscitó las críticas incluso de sus seguidores. Las reseñas negativas se vieron sumadas a su impopular decisión de añadir una sección de música india a los conciertos, así como la de interpretar la canción de The Beatles "In My Life" con una adaptación filosófica de la letra.

I still have my ticket stub from 1974 Oakland Coliseum for George. He was good. Hoarse but funny and still genuine and magical. I snuck into the good seats right next to the stage and George saw me and was watching me make my move to a great seat. When he saw I was paying attention to his music and listening to him he smiled at me and I will always remember that. That he could be so aware even from up there on the stage. Or was it all a dream?

George should have cancelled the tour bless him, but he was such a trooper! He seemed to be fighting everyone at that time of his life.

George should have listened to his friends at the time, and changed it all.
