If building a gull wing is all that's stood between you and owning a Corsair, take heart: the warbird you've been waiting for has finally arrived. The trademark gull wing shape is already built into the center section, replacing hours of difficult building with a few minutes of easy assembly. Reinforced mounts for Robart retracts are built-in — and the two outer wing panels slide into place on an aluminum joiner. The multi-section flaps in the outer panels and center section are linked with a simple phenolic tab — and once linked, the flaps in both panels move as one and require only one servo per wing half. Like the ailerons in the wing and the elevators in the stab, the flaps are prehinged to save you time. Built up sections are fully sheeted and factory-covered in flat-finish MonoKote. Matte finish decals and painted fiberglass parts — including the cowl, tail cone, fairing, gear covers and working tailwheel doors — help minimize work even as
they add to scale detail. Other scale pluses include molded-in panel and cowl flap lines, a full cockpit interior with a 3D instrument panel, a replica radial and a 2-piece aluminum spinner. The result is an authentic-looking, IMAA-legal giant that requires only 20-25 hours to assemble — and a 50-55 cc gasoline engine for easy, effortless flight.
