I sometimes think, that maybe they was some kind of warn off, the allegations of the 2 craft watching them, who were the ham operators that allegedly picked up the transmission, never heard of any coming forward

Was anything actually said on this clip? It seems drawn out and tortured. No useful information given at all.

One thing I just noticed (don't know if this has been pointed out before) you only ever see the right sides of their face. It is almost like they are being told what to say when you listen to them speak which is why they have all the awkward pauses.

He looks and sounds like a kid who has been caught (again) by his mother with his hands in the coookie jar, so as a desperate measure he just start mumbling incoherent illogical excuses in the hope that he will be spared a major spanking.
