how many solids do you work wth these days ? that would not work on a face brick with holes, and thats the vast majority these days

Thnk you for your comment.When the manufacturers decided to add this feature I wasnt too keen,because I am a bricklayer and my thoughts were the same as yours But believe it or not with some care on a flat surface with a piece of card board or similar under the brick to soften the shock it is possible to get a good cut on the face side of the brick To be honest I find the other functions more valuable, especially getting apprentices started on good quality cutting its just a different ball game
