This song was inspired by my son Eric's girlfriend Jessica Griego. While visiting us in Oregon Jessica created a Wii character that was supposed to look like herself. I observed that this character actually looked more like Sarah Palin. I started kidding her about day-dreaming that she was Sarah Palin. Before you knew it, I had made up the chorus and sang it over and over. All those present thought the chorus was very catchy. They suggested I write a complete song. Over 20-30 minutes I composed the lyrics based on my impression of Sarah Palin's questionable, scary and offensive political beliefs.
