This is an old traditional arm wrestling contest which is very popular in the East. It originated from Kashmir decades ago and is still a very active sport in countries like Pakistan, India and Great Britain! As new generations come, they participate in this sport just as their fathers and forefathers did. Raja Asif and Raja Gulstan are both good examples of that and two men who became well known for their strength and their active role in keeping this sport alive today... Raja Alaf Khan was a very famous man, who was known for brute strength all over pakistan and kashmir as far as India, and is still talked about today for their displays of pure strength in and out of competition. Raja Abdul Ghafoor the son of Raja Alaf Khan was also known for their brave work for pakistan and their strength which came down the family. Raja Asif the son of Raja Abdul Ghafoor who is still active in competition in Mungli and well known for their victorys in Arm Wrestling (Beeni), they have carried the name down the generations of being known for their strength, determination and enthusiasm in these traditional sports.
