Tony Wilson was right about Vini's voice! Having said that, I'm one of those weirdoes, who in a strange kind of masochistic way actually quite likes it. I think Durutti albums have been getting better and better. "Idiot savants" possibly his best ever. Never been too convinced in Vini's choice of female vocalists though. If only he could persuade Liz Fraser or Alison Moyet to join DC. Now that really would be something.
