To Ilove jenny 47. Sorry but Bobby had chart hits ib the states. he had only 1 very minor hit here with Fortune Teller and it was covered by someone else and it wasn't even a hit. Sorry but here in the states he was actually a no hit wonder. I have several of his songs on CD and he was or is very good. It's just that radio here at that time was so political that many or most stations wouldn't play minor label records.

Great version of this classic country blues song, even if the "big orchestra" mixing seems SO early Sixties! The origins of this song are fascinating, and Wikipedia cites a 1935 use of the electric amplified guitar in Texas, while recording this song, originally titled Corrine, Corrina. Hopefully some early blues historians will chime in to correct or support or expand upon this tidbit. :)
