Dr. Strange is a made-for-TV movie based on the Marvel Comics fictional character Doctor Strange, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. It was both directed and written by Philip DeGuere. Stan Lee served as a consultant on the film, which was created as a pilot for a proposed TV series.

  • good to see marvel has the same approach to its films today as it back then cast any mustachioed guy for Dr.strange it'll be fine oh and get the worst screen writer u can to butcher the script

  • I love how it transfers from the V'ger music of Star Trek: The Motion Picture to the sounds of the sleazy seventies...

  • I've read that, too, but Jessica Walter has said in interviews that it was only meant to be a movie, a one-shot deal.

  • @Reborn8303 from what I've heard, I think it was both a one off TV movie and if that was successfully then it would be called the pilot
