Every child needs to be loved. Thank you from one human being to another, thank you for reaching out .
Please love this child, for she is God's gift to you.
btw, is this the same cute little girl who showed us how to eat Ramen noodles? So lovely.
God bless.

Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl !, My wife and I sat in that very same seat at the Changshaw Civil Affairs building in 2007 when we got our daughter. Our daughter was the only calm one, as we were both crying... It was really a mix of the most wonderful and scary experience in our lives, as I'm sure you would agree. Take care.

Estee was dressed as if for a high society ball. She looked well-cared for and loved her feed; may be that was why the carer was trying to tell you Li Li was hungry urgently. I have seen some collages of adoptive Chinese children at various stges of their deveopment. I just could not help being struck by the sharp difference between the sometimes forlorn and helpless images at the beginning and the blooming, confident, optimistic ones in the latter stages. That is what you are doing for Estee!
Estee is 21 1/2 months here & cannot walk on her own yet. We are in Changsha finalizing her adoption papers. Because of under nourishment she was very small.
