The Tobii C-12 with C-eye modular eyegaze has built in Infrared - great for TVs, DVDs and MP3 control....but operating a remote control train set is much more fun!

I will definitely be buying the trainset for customer visits - imagine the sense of control felt by some of the kids I work with.

I deliberately pointed it away from the train to test the power of the infrared and it gets it until it is right behind me. comments welcome!

  • I have looked for this train set and can't find it. I have the Brio remote control train at home for my own kids but it is cr@p. Where did you get this one from?

  • Way cool! Imagine all the neat stuff you can control with the C12 and CEye.

  • Wow! This is exciting! We have a child using the Tobii very confidently and I'm definitely going to get in touch about this. I'm thinking about a Grid 2 page with all the different track types and the child selecting pieces to design a track. Oh, and setting design challenges, such as create a track with a bridge and a station, a track which joins together, a track with 15 pieces, a figure of eight track...Then getting to drive the train on them. I'm off to Google infra-red toys now!
