  • This is the unit Line6 would make in their dreams. Unfortunately for Line6 the unit really does exist. And people all over the world are graduating from Pods to the Ultra FX in droves.

I was going to buy a Pod but after hearing what the Axe FX can do I'm not going anywhere near a Pod now. The modulation FX on a Pod are pretty much complete and utter shite.

I can't wait till I get my Axe FX :)

  • Oh my rape, that's intensely awesome.

I think if Joe Satriani and Santana had a baby, this would be the result; it's awesome.

  • im sold on the axe now i just need the money

  • Dude put that thing down until your worthy of it.

  • @marinblues reminds me of the dvd melodic soloing LOL

  • Is straight to the pc?? if it's not, what poweramp are you using??

  • 1st AXE FX demo that sounded as good or better than a guitarport. nice

  • The Axe FX is indeed an excellent unit... though the Pod is pretty much awesome for the price. And you're right, people are quickly getting an Axe FX Ultra... Some save some money, others ditch some of their rack units like a Korg A3. But seriously, the Axe is one hell of a unit.

@marinblues : you're playing and tone are excellent! 5 stars man.

  • nope never said that but they advanced it further untill the Axe came on the scene

  • Are you saying that Line6 developed Digital Signal Processing all on it's lonesome - with no help or development from any other company? If they did then it was quite an achievement!

  • mm but remember it was lIne 6 that kicked up all the dirt fist....and not bad for a cheaper unit..I myself started with an original Pod now on an Axe..so give due where its due..please
