EVERY 1 READ THIS! people are saying these amps are shit.well today i got the spider 4. 75 and what ive got to say is this.i think the haters are getting carried away with themselfs.thay forget that most people cant afford fancy amps.the spider 4 line are good amps there easy to afford you may call them cheap.but at the end of the day were ever u play them in ya room. in ya basement or on the stage thay will not let you down an line 6 no this.ITS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC SO FUCK U HATERS THAY DO ROCK

i love my spider IV... the effects r cool and the distortion is pretty easy to customize. hate the insane preset though they started off with wayy to much bass but overall a good practice amp.

So far I've only discovered one decent tone on my spider 4 75w amp. Can anyone suggest a good crunch tone? I'd like a nice crunch like Keith Richards or Jimi Hendrix. My guitar is Jackson dk2m with 2 x humbuckers. Find it very difficult to get any decent tones.

Most of the haters are probably tube amp company goons. Tube amps are becoming more and more antiquated by the day. Some of the new modeling technology ( ie AxeFx , Line 6 ) can replicate MULTIPLE tube amps very close. The last version of these sucked but the iv's are really good !
