Cupcakefest 2011 Promo by WPSC 88.7 FM Brave New Radio!

Vegan cupcakery Sweet Avenue Bake Shop and Planet Verge, the lifestyle blog and Internet TV show that reports on "what's hot" and "what's important," have announced Bloomfield's John A. Bukowski Shelter for Animals as the beneficiary for the annual Cupcakefest (www.Cupcakefest.com).

Taking place June 18 at Rutherford's Lincoln Park Bandshell (176 Park Avenue), this daylong celebration of music and cupcakes includes raffles and a cupcake eating contest.

This year's performers are keeping up New Jersey's reputation for spawning buzz-worthy bands. You've seen their videos on MTVU, read about them on Kings of A&R, seen them on tour with acts like The Spill Canvas and Butch Walker, and heard their music on TV and the radio.
