The Ten Commandments

The film is based on my family. Being Jewish is sometimes a lot harder than people think. And Im not talking about being a Jew and wanting to practice and not be judged, Im talking about being born a Jew but not wanting to be Jewish and not being judged.

It is something a lot of Jewish families deal with, the hidden fear that their children will marry out or lose faith and Judaism will be lost. As a family we have never intentionally meant to hurt anyone, but sometimes the choices we make mean ultimately somebody ends up in pain.

The story begins with a family of Chinchillas and takes a look at a Chinchillas version of God and religion. In some families religion isnt a choice. However I am lucky because whatever choice I make my family will always stick together.

What will happen to the Chinchilla family when they are all suddenly faced with a choice?
Will they leave the comfort of the cage and the Owner who protects them for ultimate freedom?
Or stay safe, remain protected and refuse to stupidly jump into the unknown?
