Adam Aston - Warsaw Melody (Powstanie Warszawskie), 1944

On 1st of August 1944 the uprising of the whole city of Warsaw, against the falling Nazis, broke out. Also - it was to show the Red Army, who just was at the outskirts of the city, that Stalin's accounts to get Poland at the lowest cost, will not be possible. More than 300 000 citizens of Warsaw gave their lives - strangled by the smoke, burnt by fire, killed by bullets and by the direct murder of Dirlewanger & Ukrainian troops, by starvation or by the tumbling houses - to prove Stalin he will have problems with swallowing Poland as easy as a cherry.

Red Army in its whole stood and waited by Vistula River bank watching Warsaw burn out on the opposite side, and hoping, the best of Poles are burning with it.

A few decades later, the children and grand-children of those who had been fighting in 1944, made "Solidarity".

Aston, in his Polish-English sings all his unbearable pain at the news about death in ruins of his beloved city, Warszawa.

On July 23, Home Army forces in Lwów (now Lviv) began an armed rising in cooperation with advancing Soviet forces. In four days the city was liberated. The Polish civil and military authorities were then summoned to "a meeting with Red Army commanders" and taken prisoner by the Soviet NKVD. Colonel Władysław Filipkowski's men were forcibly conscripted into the Red Army or sent to forced-labor camps, or went back underground. Soviets killed Poles like nazis from 1939.

Liberate? Explain to me how the fuck Russia LIBERATED or HELPED Poland in ANY fucking way? Russia won the war? Give me a break, the one and ONLY reason they SURVIVED the war is because of the huge population, and Stalin-fagget treating them like pawns.
