Appointed EU President Herman Van Rompuy objects when called out on the method of his selection and appointment. In a press conference in Brussels on November 19, the day he was appointed, Mr. Van Rompuy was asked if he was embarrased that the procedure used to select and appoint the President of the European Council was "less transparent" than how the President of China is named.

Mr. Van Rompuy appeared defensive and perhaps angry as he tried to pretend the process was somehow democratic, as well as pretending the process to force the Lisbon Treaty on Europeans without any but one member country allowing an election to surrender independence to the EU. And in Ireland, repeat votes and threats were forced on the Irish citizens to pressure them into voting 'yes' after voting 'no' two previous times.

And beyond the authoritarian-style policy of appointing leaders, remember the process whereby the consensus amongst European leaders was to anoint former UK PM Tony Blair, yet just days prior to the appointment, suddenly Blair was dropped, Herman Van Rompuy was plucked out of obscurity, and throw in the surprise of the selection of Catherine Ashton as High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security. Hardly 'transparent'! At least citizens knew Tony Blair was under consideration for long enough to get an idea of what his views were; a notice denied citizens when springing Van Rompuy to the Presidency.

This is a warning for Americans that if the proposed "North American Community" or "Union" is created, that the rulers of North America may be appointed in a similar method.

LET'S STOP THIS OUTRAGE--WHILE WE CAN:
We are Americans and free people, and must fight back to block any regional or global government which would supplant our Constitution and freedoms with a Socialist regime led by regional power "unions" or the UN.

This is a special public service announcement brought to you by The Conservative Caucus, America's Constitutional Government Action Organization. Producer, Art Harman.

  • Even if our right to impeach is lost to history what does it matter? We almost never used it when we had the chance, no matter how much we complained. We actually preferred assassination attempts.

  • In China they don't exterminate elderly like Euro-Junta does in Greece.

  • to say this "man" is just a chairman is just what the EU elite want you to think. Everything about the EU started as a small seed and grew whilst no one was watching. Initially the EU was a coal and steel union for a handful of countries. Look at it now. Detractors are labelled as loons or conspiracy theorists and the people are kept in the dark like mushrooms.

  • @slade420 It's the Counsel of European leaders who has the final word.

As "072Alkmaar" just said it's just a chairman with no executive power.

Every decision made is a consensus of the counsel for there isn't one man in charge.

  • hahah Yeah whatever....

  • @072Alkmaar actually no, van Rompuy was not elected, he was installed by the builderberg group. look it up

  • This video is totaly off point. You cant compare the EU president to the one in China of the USA. He is just the chairman of the Counsel of European leaders. Those leaders are elected democraticly. Stop scaring people. Fucking ignorant American pricks..

  • @Mackingster What's wrong with hippies or anarchists? They actually seem to have the right idea...

  • Government by consensus with individual thought subordinated to the group is already alive and well in the US, it's called the Democrat Party. If you feel I am wrong in this, just review how many items that Obama has suggested that have been defeated by the Dem Congress.
