CHOW contributor Ray Venezia of Fairway in New York calls it chop meat; we call it ground beef. Semantics aside, red meat does not have to be red all the way through.

  • I disagree.

  • i was buying ground beef that had ice cubes and recycled cooking oil added to increase the weight. you have been buying it also. when you fryed your beef it filled up the pan.
