Update; the homeowner provided the court with the invoices along with the processed check of the individual who installed the generator & charges were dropped.

I just hope that you get a decent judge who will throw the wole thing out of court. Then you should take it upon yourself to run for sheriff in your locality. Then you can give such harassers of honest citizens the justice that they deserve.

Almost speaks to why one should not get involved, sounds like this fire marshal is a small minded person I wonder how many of these gov. positions are filled by other liked small minded people, it's like trolls they are not worth the time, have personal issues and live a substandard life, best to leave these people to themselves... its the greatest form of punishment :-)
