  • cool tech but a seriously fail commercial... "I have clear HD video from the field but my neighbors don't have running water." Really?

  • @outlyr242 Our goal with the commercial was to show how people can use GoToMeeting to collaborate to solve problems - like water issues around the world. And we take that idea to heart. We'll announce shortly a way which we're partnering with a global network to make our words real by helping our global neighbours.

  • the worst commericial of the year. you would never get bandwidth like that in the middle of kenya. and the oh so liberal hippy look of concern from your forced racially diverse group is insulting. especially since you never let the Kenyan woman speak.

  • Wow, look who's tripping over themselves trying appear green and socially conscious. This commercial comes across as pandering and contrived. I love the tech-nebbish at the end of the commercial with the look of concern and dedication to help the obligatory young racially diverse duo.

  • The cynicism is funny, but in this case, may not be fair. If it were anywhere near Nairobi, they actually DO have wifi coverage in areas without running water and in several other parts of Africa. I had a friend in Ethiopia running a meeting with a pretty good picture and that village was very primitive.

  • The usual topic of international video conferences is how much money can be saved by outsourcing a company's American jobs to its offshore divisions.

  • love the music! whats that song called? also, who cares if its an asian woman? if she is helped thats all that matters

  • @idratherbehere OMG please for the love of God if you do this record it and upload it to you tube and let us know!

  • Apparently these people made a choice to have High speed internet before they decided to get clean drinking water.... Hmmmmm.

  • I have to mute this commercial too. It's beyond contrived. I write for a sketch comedy group and am working on a sketch that imagines what the advertising agency mtg must have been like when they came up with this concept. "Not just an Asian woman, but a hip, young Asian woman with a British accent." (the ad execs break into spontaneous applause)

  • Really? You want to waste your technology on people who haven't learned how to sanitize their water? Give up and leave them in the stone age. We have a future to create.

I can't wait to breed an extra hundred niglets! This is clearly what we should be wasting our time, money, and effort on.

  • I can't believe they are still playing this commercial. It just came on again and I have to mute it every time it comes on. Enough already.

  • "There are villages nearby that could really use our new system" well no shit, it's Africa
