@lovedoctor890 I understand the point you were trying to make. Although it may not be practical, under the right circumstances though it is very effective.

This is similar to 'old school' judo that taught more self-defence. The object of judo in self defense is to control then finish, similar to what you describe above.

Not really pushing you backwards. But you do need to use kuzushi to get uke's momentum moving the correct way. If he pulls back you use a second technique to create a combination.

Hi lovedoctor890,
this is correct in in a sense, but when your opponent resists a hip throw by pulling away, you can do a stamp throw to get him over, or a quick turn around and leg throw should do the trick.

muuauauuahahuauau with belt jumped muuauuauaua and then he's light

Looks like u get thrown around alot in Jujitsu. I kinda like that.

He is saying normal stuff but many times people say like a dance you will pull him in over balance to you then go in with the Hip throw then if you pull back It dont matter. The main way to stop this is to block his hips with your hand. That is an excape things they are just showing you good concepts so you can work on it :) nice work though bro

Sounds interesting. Please show a video explaining what you are talking about. thanks
Sure. There's a counter for everything. If I attack with this throw (O goshi) and you pull backwards, then I switch to ouchi gari and throw you backwards. That's the essence of Judo. Of course, I attack with ouchi gari and you counter ouchi gaeshi and I counter with uchi mata... It's a never ending cycle. The throw is valid, otherwise it would not be taught.

Thats why its in Army Feild Manual 21-150 as the first throw. Theirs is a bit more grizzly and leathal. at the end when the opponent is on the ground they are in a half assed armbar and you step on the throat or face and theres a punch to the throat or face after theblocking of the punch and before you grab the waistband.
