JCCC International Students Experience Snow For Their First Time

JCCC international students Balkisu Aliyu and Bashir Hassan (Nigeria), Amy Titmas (South Africa), and Jonathas Barreto (Brazil) share a common winter connection: All four experienced snow for their first time in their lives while attending the college this semester.

To celebrate this special link, the students built the college's inaugural international snowman, adorning it with accessories native to their countries: A Gwaggwaro ("head tie"), a South African flag scarf, and a Brazilian soccer jersey.
