WOW players say, L2 stole many things...

They say, they are proud of their weapons and armour

but WOW players never said "it was more than a game. It was a fantasy that brought me somewhere.. It was whole another world. And I enjoyed being in it. I enjoyed I can run from all my problems.. in there."

this is what makes Lineage 2... a whole new world, where you can actually be someone. Where you can escape to from the problems of "real" world.

When the reasearchers from Giant Cave have found new land called Gracia...

When they reasearched new armors and weapons which nothing can destroy them. Powerfull armors and weapons called Dynasty... Friends, elfs, orcs, humans and all of aden races... I am tired how everyone is saying "the game I play is better than yours"...

everyone has the thing they enjoy, so... none should rate another person according to the game they play...

oh and @Whyyousuck1 ... you are either trolling or have no idea what I was talking about :) nerd or gamer... not the same :P besides... it was for the nerds who created the stuff you show off with :P so you should be thankful for them XD

but if everyone is comparing games by the fighting engine, I'll have to say EVE beats it all... Aion, WoW, L2 etc...

in EVE you have to watch the distance, the optimal range and falloff of the turrets, the relative speed, the trajectory, what kind of ammo you use... although it takes a very long time to learn how to play EVE... that's why many ppl hate it... even though it is a great fun after like 6 months

@dphoenixx Comparing L2 to wow in the end is really unfair; because L2 never really tries to convey it's story. WoW is more popular because, well, it's a better game over all. It's more engaging to play. Quests are rewarding - you get items that are useful. In some areas in L2 (Red Eye lizard quest) Even on official servers, by the time you complete that quest line the entire reward for doing it all is worthless to you.

@dphoenixx L2 only ever offers you small tidbits of information of the story. You have to dig more. In WOw, it's a lot easier to feel something for the characters because it's not just conveyed through text boxes telling you that something happened. Instances, for example. One involves Arthas, before he became the Lich King, commanding his troops to attack and slaughter an entire city of people to cleanse them of the Scourge. His lover cries and runs away because of what he's doing.

@dphoenixx It's hard to convey tone through text. I just mean that all in all, WoW constructs a far more believable and indepth world than L2 does. In terms of overall look, I prefer the way L2 looks - the take on Orcs makes them look bad ass. A lot of aspects in l2 were deeply flawed though. Quest rewards didn't make it worth even doing them honestly unles it was to get to a specific raid (Like Antharas) or class change.

@dphoenixx It depends on your class in l2. If you're an archer, you're going to kite. But for the most part, melee classes don't really have to move unless chasing considering moving and attacking at the same time wasn't possible when in l2.
