  • Only a week or two are spent learning this show every year, and the majority of the band members are engineering majors and don't have time to spend memorizing music.

Now I have a question for you: Why can't you spell?

  • Could Blue be more lame?

  • haha, i thought this was Michigan state university's band. Not bad, i definitely like our big 10 style a lot more though.

  • I was in the stands yesterday at the Arkansas game. I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the Famous Maroon Band! (you guys have one of the best fight songs I've ever heard... well, next to ours... Tenn. Tech) Enjoy these moments, band. There will come a time when you're old like me (36) and you'll long for playing "Salute to Americas Finest" on cold Saturday afternoons. This is the best time of your life. Cherish every moment. Fantastic performance yesterday!!

  • I don't think you'll find many high school bands that are able to play what the maroon band plays now.

  • Maybe one day the FMB will be rid of this plague upon our sacred band known as Elva Kaye and will rise again to a level of respect and honor.

Great job current students, but I look forward to the day when the FMB (besides the military show) plays something besides what my local high school band plays.

  • Great video. All the interviews with the band members was great and added to the overall show. The Famous Maroon band is an exceptional band with much talent and history backing them up. I like watching their halftime shows more than any other band (besides The Million Dollar Band).

Great video, I loved the figure of the United States at the beginning of the halftime performance, great interviews

    Keep up the Great Work

    5 stars; My Favorites

  • I was at that game. It was a good show.

  • wow, I sooo miss this! This was my favorite show to do! My brother was in Iraq my first year... I cried through the whole show. But it was great! Keep it up guys! =)
