http://www.greedtone.com the Greed Tone overdrive and distortion box....very cool...kinda reminds me of the Klon . Yep! I said it! Klon-ish...great character to this pedals tone shaping ability.

  • not bad! :)

  • Klon vs. Greedtone shootout!!

  • proud owner of one of these :)

  • @ahpplejuc If he thinks it's similar to a Klon, there are a few places that offer kits, boards etc for it. Also a few places that sell pre-made clones for around $200 IIRC.

  • @smoss469 Is there any reason why this overdrive sounds so much more like a tube amp's natural distortion? the volume, perhaps? Im about to just make this if i can get the circuit diagrams somewhere. 300 bones >< ouch

  • I just played one of these in person and it's by far the most impressive overdrive I've ever had the pleasure of playing/hearing.

  • The thing I love about your vids, is that you go back to the original by-passed sound often during your demo of the pedal. Most others play 2-3 clean chords and then 5 minutes of overdrive. By then, I've forgotten what the original tone was!

  • Truly one of the great ODs out there. Some more controls would be nice, but I guess that'd just mean more components to buggerise the sound.

  • @KJansen00 Not really. Do you realize how little goes into a Fuzz, OD, or Boost pedal? There are only a small handful of components. The only real difference is buying in bulk reduces your cost. A cheap resistor is about $.05. An expensive resistor? You're not talking $5 a resistor.

  • @smoss469 handwired multiswitch boutique pedals are gonna be way more than a crappy digitech stomp box
