  • Btw, I think you wrote in one of your comments that you can reduce the ringing at will – I am able to do that, too. The easiest way for me is to take very deep breaths; this can be really impressive at night when the ringing tends to be (seems to be?) much louder (during the day I can't really hear it). By relaxing my muscles and emotions, I’d say the tinnitus becomes at least 90% quieter.

  • Wow, now this really DOES make sense. My tinnitus started about 6 months ago, and I soon realized that it has a lot to do with me losing control over my life, especially on a mental and emotional level. Yeah, people with this condition are normally „the caretakers” and the people-pleasers. :S
