Remember how exclusive I felt when holding the DMC vinyl records back in the day. Great concept. Felt like I had a precious piece of jewelry in my hand each time I ripped open the transparent thin cover plastic and slapped it on the SL-1210:) Nice tribute to Luther by the way.
Well the 80s and 90s brought us so many super stars, and amazing ballads, Luther was the king of soul with out a doubt. But if you listen to todays songs there are so many rifts from the 80s and 90s. Soul is still in our lives, even if it is some spotty twatt that has no rhythm or song. This guy is missed by the 80s and 90s funksters. great reminders of the empireball room Lester square, Greg Edwards and the mix doctor Les Adams. Friday nights London, The home of soul :)
