  • @axelei I saw it as a kid and it actually determined my whole life. It sucked me nto programming into demoscene and coding. I'm 27 years old now and it was the best possible life path for me :)

  • @LanIost Indeed. But today the bottleneck in most case is the video card... not the CPU!

  • I remember seeing the rollercoaster for the first time and I was just blown away!

  • WATCH THE EFFECT !!!

  • dude, that IS one of the best demos I've ever seen.

I can't believe at the end it's a fucking coaster on a voxel height map. I was not expecting that. I can't believe this is '96. Makes me feel like computers are so wasted these days. I remember playing the first 3d rollercoaster tycoon and it didn't get this many frames per second.

Granted there are legitimate reasons for this but still, can you imagine if EVERYTHING was still coded with assembly? Would quadruple power.

  • awesome!

  • I say only one word: WOWWWW!!!

  • back then I was all like "wooo that's more than 8 bit colour"

  • pure

    crazy

    coolness

  • Agreed.. this was one of my favorites back in 95-96
