Here i demonstrate how to make a simple and healthy stir fry using traditional ingredients. Start out with boiling about 2 cups of rice in water, let come to a boil and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. While that is cooking, you can get all your fixins ready whatever you want to use such as bell peppers, bamboo shoots, scallions, asian cucumber, seasonings such as ground ginger and sesame are a must have. For the protein you may use whatever you prefer, shrimp, scallops , fish, steak, pork or chicken. I prefer chicken marinated in soya soy sauce glaze and have that prepared before hand, at least 4 hours in advance. Then sautee the chicken in a skillet for about 6-7 minutes until brown and add your seasonings in. Then you may sautee your vegetables in the same skillet to inherit the good source of the main ingredient such as the protein(chicken) .

  • Nice job dude! The rice came out great, I keep screwing that up. I normally add the soy sauce to the veggies while cooking, but it all works out.
