U.S. space shuttle Discovery has returned to Earth after almost two weeks in orbit. It touched down at the Kennedy Space centre in Florida. The landing was postponed a few times due to poor weather conditions. Discovery brought 7 astronauts back to Earth. They spent almost two weeks at the International Space Station, carrying out space walks and maintenance work. Three more shuttle flights are planned by NASA before the programme is suspended later this year.

  • its amazing how fast humans develop.... to think only about 100 years ago we learned how to fly.... and now we are exploring worlds far from our own... at this rate imagine what human tech will look like in a few hundred years..... the more technology you have the easyer it is to make more newer technology... at this rate in 200 years, earth will eather be destroyed or humans will be living on the moon and mars

  • @101andrewj I agree, I have similar feelings. I have given up trying to explain this to ignorant people. Simply live your life, do good for others in the world and let the uninformed believe in whatever force they want to. Most people are too scared to think for themselves, so they need a make believe friend. What is interesting is deep down they know, their belief does not make sense, but dare they question it.

  • @spacyfoil It's called religion..

  • Wow takes skill to do that

  • @101andrewj yeah agree, but you gotta admit that the Horten 229 is a beauty :P

  • @cryteeek im aware of both planes, and i know the nazis were the most developed country at the beginning of the second world war and they only lost because of numbers and strategy, not because of strength or valor... but they had different goals... progression of the human race was not high on their list of prioritys

  • @101andrewj I didn't mean that pal. Nazi technology = superior & advanced technology/science. The germans alredy had a stealth bomber back in 1945, its called the Horten 229. They did the first jetfighter the ME 262 in the early 40s. Just saying. If the Nazis won ww2, they would be on Mars right now :)

  • @cryteeek no... thank nazi germany for saving nasa a couple years and couple billion dollars... im sure you know the saturn wasnt exactly the v2... all the germans did was lay a foundation, one that the americans deffently could have got on their own given the time and money...

  • @101andrewj thank nazi germany for the technology

  • @cryteeek no they would not... bio diversity is key to growth and development... and we all know what the nazis thought about everybody who wasnt aryan... if they won ww2 instead of using the years after to have a technoligcal space race their opponents, they would have used their technology and scientists instead to try and rid the world of everybody non aryan

  • @101andrewj XDDDDDD

  • @101andrewj if the Nazis won WW2 they would alredy be one Mars
