This student film team explains their project: "Da Bomb Productions has created a delightful short film to uncover possible effects of the nation's current dependence on petroleum, a non-renewable source of energy. "Pumping Away Our Future" features Marty, a typical student in the year 2050, as he faces a shortage of gasoline that prohibits him from driving to his 10:20 and forces him to take extreme measures. These extreme measures include digging for his own petroleum. Marty unearths a time capsule from the year 2000 during his frantic digging and discovers important documents and items pertaining to his current situation. This documentary incorporates the characteristics of a situation comedy in an attempt to inform its audience of the pertinent issues related to petroleum usage in transportation."
This film was created by students participating in a special McPherson Endowment seminar course at Michigan State University with instructors Drs. Alice Dreger and Doug Luckie. Learn more here: http://www.msu.edu/course/lbs/492/luckie

Tells me one thing. It's all about me in the good ole U.S.A. Like one guy who says I don't care it's paid by my employer. Just a bunch of da's. Hell no brainer we all sacrifice slow down to 55 nation wide, no exceptions. Automatic fine $100 for 56 MPH. Results probaly pay off national debt in a year, save hundred of lives, build up our reserves. Walla price goes down. Don't tell me that people in Asia, Europe and the other idiots in the world can afford to pay what we pay.
