  • I could find no extimates greater than 300 for the total number executed in the "Bloody Assizes. Most were around 200.

  • The most famous city in the world, New York City, was actually names after James II. It was changed from New Amsterdam to New York after James, then the Duke Of York. distinguished himself in battle. The land changed hand was renamed in his honor.

  • We have a similar situation in Britain today. Just as a sizeable percentage of Englishmen wanted to EXCLUDE James, Duke of York, from succeeding Charles II to the crown, a sizeable percentage of Englishmen today wish to exclude Charles, Prince of Wales, from succeeding his mother, Elizabeth II and for the same reasons: because Charles is immoral and inept.
