  • @chenrikl the console of that organ reminds me of that of the Walt Disney Concert Hall Organ, very simple, very contemporary. The WDCH organ is pretty unusual in design,as the tall wooden Bombarde pipes look like a pile of Lincoln logs. The WDCH organ has a magnificent sound, though. I've seen videos of Dr. Williams playing it. She's a marvelous organist!

  • I agree with Desiree...great piece, and a superlative performance! I, too, would like info on the publisher, if available. Not that I could play it like Dr. Williams, but it would be fun to work on!

    Thanks!

  • This is a BEAUTIFUL piece! We organists get into a rutt of learning "repertoire" too much, and so many great pieces that would draw more attention to the Organ go underplayed. Who is the publisher of this great piece?! I want it!

  • too fast, and the composer's name is Albert Leblanc ;)

  • New piece to me, well impressed with both the piece and playing

  • Very good performance....super sound...

  • Simply astounding!

  • Bravo Carol, Thank You

  • Very lovely! Thanks

  • Great sounds as always from your hands and feet, Carol!

    Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Lovely!

  • That opening cantus firmus in the pedal sounds like it could be a hymn tune of some sorts. Sounds great!

  • There should be more organs around available to be played and listened. Ok, My home town every church has one (as expected) and one organ hall (Owned by conservatorium ) . . . Magnificent instruments.

And if you happen to come to Finland, do come and play on the grandest organs in whole Finland. The great organs of Turku Cathedral, one of the biggest and greatest organs, fitted inside the main church of Finland.

  • What a lovely console they have. A simple and plain design that seems very userfriendly. And of course, it has a lovely sound as well. Well played!
