TVR Tamora vs Porsche Boxster & BMW Roadster at Pembrey Race Circuit.
The TVR Tamora is a 2-seater sports car built from 2002 by TVR, filling the gap left by the company's Chimaera and Griffith models.
It was the entry-level model in the TVR range priced at £43,460.
The Tamora is fitted with a TVR's in-house 'Speed Six', a DOHC 3605 cc six-cylinder engine rated at 350 hp at 7200 rpm and 290 lbft of torque at 5500 rpm & only weighs in at a featherweight 1,040 kg with 58/42 weight distribution.
Keeping with the TVR tradition, the Tamora lacks driving aids such as traction control and ABS as well as air bags.
According to Autocar magazine, the Tamora is capable of accelerating 0--60 mph in 4.2 seconds, and completes the quarter mile in 12.5 seconds at 119 mph (192 km/h).
Top speed is over 170 mph (270 km/h).
The Tamora also provided the base for the T350 coupe.

The Tamora looks so horrible with the smaller alloy wheels. Completely spoils the whole image.
