what i should have connected to interface instead of midi to transmit tracks to actualy see them? please help me
-
@barcow if you've got another interface in addition to the MPC, then you'll need to go into the midi preferences and tell Logic which midi device you're using for which function. It's hard to say until we went through every connection, but I'd definitely start there.

@LifeStyjl ay man, don't have the 5K anymore, but if any of my buds still have one I'd be happy to do another vid for ya.

But once you've done it this way, is the track that you have still destructive in LOGIC? Basically, what if I don't want all the sounds all on one track for a mixing and mastering? How would I then decompose all of those sounds or what if I wanted to change those sounds and incorporate different sounds with those time patterns?

@supaseals
You've got the assignable audio outs, which is how you'll separate your sounds. you can send them all into individual tracks.

I'm gonna get a mpc 5000 in about a couple of weeks. I read a comment where you said you dont have it anymore. Why did you sell it?! Did you like it?

@prettdboy
it was great, but i find that my money is better spent on controllers and newer computers, etc. for the price of a 5000, you can get a serious computer that does a whole lot more than just making beats.
