I hold my hand up for him to stop. "Logan, I don't want any excuses. I just want the truth from you and it seems impossible for you."
"I can explain that to you." He moves towards me, hoping to get my attention.
"That's what I was asking for."
"I didn't know Miley was there. She just wanted to talk then we got closer." I could tell he was hesitant about his answer.
"I really don't care that you got closer." I roll my eyes in disgust and jealousy. "The point is, I really want to be with you. I do but I can't make that happen when you're going to be gone half the time. I'm not even sure if I love you more than I think."
"Selena, I'm sorry that I couldn't be here."
I stare him down, thinking back to my conversation with Logan. "It's okay, Alex. I think it's time for you to go anyway."
"Did I do something wrong?" He looks down, wanting me to answer it quick.
"Yes and don't even bother explaining."
"Then just tell me what I did wrong." His eyes were pale green with a mixture of blue now.
I tried my best to keep my distance. "You did it. I'm surprised you don't know."
I haven't seen Alex for over two weeks. Logan and I weren't able to keep in touch anymore. It was as if he was slowing making his way out of my life. I wanted to pull him to me, hold him for as long as I could. But we both knew that was impossible.
I had another week to go. It might've even been earlier. I held the pain in my stomach, trying my best not to complain so much or show my many mood swings.
I was fast asleep on the couch, feeling the comfort of the soft cushion then the warmth of his grip. "Logan?"
He smiles, "Hey. I wanted to make sure you were okay."
"I'm fine." I could feel my lips curve into a grin. I was surprised that he cared for me even after everything I've used against him.
"I'm sorry for just walking in."
I shake my head. Wrapping my arms around him when I say, "It's time."
It was about four hours later, beautiful baby girl sleeping in my arms. She had beautiful blue eyes that looked just like Logan's. She was like Logan in so many ways. Holding her made me think of Emily, how she had bright blue eyes and black hair.
Logan was actually first to hold her. Watching him smile just made me weak inside. I could feel the guilt in my stomach.
His radiant blue eyes pierced into mine, begging me to stay with him forever and just learn to let go of the past. I knew it was time. I wanted to say it but I was too caught up with my own problems.
"Hey."
I turn my gaze to the door, smiling when I see Demi with a grin on her face. "Demi, what are you doing here?"
"You think I would back out on my best friend at this time?" She lets out a laugh. "I'm not an idiot, Selena. I mean, look at you. You're smiling like never before, Logan is inseparable to the baby. And I know for a fact that there could be a sense of family in the three of you."
I turn my gaze to Logan then Demi, both of them smiling and waiting for me to say something. "Yeah, I'm sure there is. I'm not ready to be a family or get into any of that."
She looks down, feeling disappointed that I didn't want anything to do with Logan or the baby. "You've done it once. How hard can it be a second time?"
"She's already being adopted." I turn to look at Logan, smiling and holding onto her like she was his life. "I don't think I can change that."

i'm getting so mad when i read this story now. dont worry its a good thing! but i'm getting so annoyed wiht logan and selena's back and forth relationship and how selena is pregnant again! haha. how old is selena supposed to be anyway?
