It's so incredible. Henry Fonda's character in this movie was so much like my paternal grandfather's. He hated growing old, was very nostalgic, and was always so afraid of dying and of it being his last Christmas or his last this or that. He finally did pass away in 1994 and was I think somewhere in his late eighties. He was such a good grandfather and did so many of the things a grandfather is supposed to. I miss him and know he is now in a good place and no longer afraid.
