I saw her play in London about 2 years ago, and it profoundly affected me. She looked almost suicidal - but in that incredibly meaninglful, stark and cathartic way that helps you to pull out, understand and deal with your own feelings.

As much as we'd all like to see that unfortunately I doubt she will ever play it. :-(

The fact that she's apparently the only woman to record all five Prokofiev concertos reminds us that Martha Argerich has only recorded two, which is a real shame. I'd love to hear her tackle the mighty 2nd.

It's a cut from the french documentation "Notes interdites" (Forbidden notes) from 2004.
