This is the CCTV footage from Liverpool England, which has a glowing figure that appears to be making its way through the grounds of the 400 year old Croxteth Hall.

It has in the past, been suggested that the site could be haunted by the 7th Earl of Sefton, Hugh William Osbert Molyneux, who lived at the hall until his death in 1972.

Another theory is that the ghost could be the 2nd Earl of Sefton, William Philip Molyneux, who laid the foundation stone for Aintree Racecourse and is believed locally to revisit the hall every year at the time of the Grand National.

The house was bequeathed to the City of Liverpool when Hugh William Osbert Molyneux died without leaving an heir. His wife, Josephine Gwynne, was the last member of the Molyneux family to live at Croxteth, and died in 1980.

Some other interesting things that have been encountered at this place include..

-Sounds of children playing, laughing and running.

-Dark figures has been seen sitting in non existing chairs.

-Maid has been seen in the kitchen doing here duties.

-A male has been seen in the principal corridor.

-Footsteps,noises and ghost of servants walking from room to room in the attic.

-A boy who stands by the fireplace in the dining room.

-A shadow of a figure in the billiard room,

-The 6th Earl of Sefton walking around the tearoom.

-Footsteps are heard along the corridors of the hall.

-The smell of tabacco can be detected in the servants room.

-Constant electrical faults reported and when a electrician comes to mend the fault, they find nothing wrong.

  • to me it just looks like some blurry footage of someone walking . I bet if someone where to walk buy wearing a white coat in the same area it would show the same thing, and don't get me wrong I do believe that there are other things out there but this isn't one of them

  • Hi yah Meph...it is good to see you, bud! :)

My thoughts are..I guess if that was fact and CCTV cams record with such low quality..then..NO ONE would have to be concerned with "big brother" watching from the 3 million set up through out the UK.

I don't think they would allow such low quality for their cams with defects like that...If that were the case..they would never catch anyone at all, from watching them.
