"Lightning War" part 1 :
The Nazis developed a terrifying new military tactic,the Blitzkrieg,that caught first Poland and then Britain and France utterly unprepared. The fall of Poland and how Hitler then conquered France in just a few weeks is charted. This was an achievement that had eluded Germany throughout all the four years of World War I. Also revealed is how heroic French resistance allowed the British to escape from Dunkirk and live to fight another day.

    in fact this serie is made by DISCOVERY channel...the one made by HISTORY is WW2 in HD and its the story of a dozens of americans soldiers around the world.
