It is a powerful, moving message that needed to be said & sung and I think is a courageous message indeed, though I prefer the more melodic and loving songs by this group and believe their strength comes from their lovely harmonies, classic bluegrass/country sound and I pray someday they can recapture that approach to song, never forgetting what they went through (and still do), but also remembering their fans loved them BEFORE this series of events and will love them AFTER all is said and done

The funny thing is they stood up for something that we talk about every day. Would you? nope, thats why it was such a big deal. We are all a part of the greater whole (but you wouldn't understand that either so skip this). I cry everytime I see their DVD.

The U.S. told Jane Fonda she was anti-american. Then later, said she was right to protest the vietnam war. Same with Dixie Chicks on going to war with Iraq. Women know, Women (should) rule! :)
