Kingdom Hearts II - Hollow Bastion 3 Part 6

Leon and Cloud see a beam of light in the distance, and Leon worries for the safety of Sora, Donald and Goofy. Cloud says not to worry, because they won't go down easy, and says Sora is one lucky kid. Leon says they will see them all again soon.

Sora, Donald and Goofy find themselves on the Gummi Ship, with help from an unexpected source. When Sora lost his will to fight, Malificent pulled him, Donald and Goofy into darkness. Sora wakes up, and realizes it's the Realm of Darkness. He calls out for Kairi and Riku, but they are nowhere to be found. Donald then sees a man in a robe holding a box, but the man leaves witout saying anything and leaves the box. Donald opens it to find a picture of Hayner, Pence, Olette...and Roxas, according to Sora. While he never met him, the name just popped into his head. Donald takes a bite of the ice cream that was also in the box, but then it starts to glow, and Sora uses it to open a new path. However, he says that they must find Kairi first before anything else.

On the Gummi Ship, Goofy wonders who left the box, and if they are some sort of clue. Sora thinks it might have been Riku, it was just a feeling he had. Sora also wonders what to do now if the Heartless are back. He can't use the Keyblade because that would only help the Organization, but Goofy tells him he needs to use it, because the Heartless will continue to hurt people if he doesn't.

With the entire situation over, there are some things to do before moving on.

1. Go back to the Postern and talk with the fairies. They are irritated that Donald lied about Leon having treasure, then they decide to take all of Sora's treasures. Sora tells them no way, and apologizes for tricking them. But the fairies say that it's fine because they heard the whole story from Leon about how their journey has been difficult, and offer to help instead of taking their treasures. They leave behind the Gull Wing Keyblade (Attack 3, Magic 0, Experience Boost) for Sora to have.

2. The explosion from earlier opened a new area in the Restoration site where you can pick up two more chests.

3. Go to the Borough and fight the Bookmasters continuously until one of them drops an Akashic Record. There are 7 total: two in front of Merlin's house, two at the bottom of the stairs, two at the top of the stairs, and one at the enterance to the Marketplace. The Akashic Record (Attack 7, Magic 0, MP Haste) is a much better weapon for Goofy at this point. To make it quicker, if none of them drop it, go into Merlin's House, use the save point to exit to the world map, then re-enter in Merlin's House to reset them. It may take a while, but patience will pay off.
