Amtrak Texas Eagle Detour Northbound (RR East) across Illinois; on the former Chicago and Eastern Illinois mainline from St Louis to Chicago; Part 1: Due to High speed rail construction the Amtrak Texas Eagle flew a different way; I did not video every mile, but I like the junctions, switches, yards, bridges and other trains.

  • It seems like it bypasses all the towns between St Louis and Steger Ilinois, as I hardly noticed any, and there were no stops all the way from St Louis to Chicago; I think it went through Pana, Villa Grove, Watseka, Grant Park, Crete

  • its realy tath noisy there @ rear window? wow its not annoying? to be tehre for few hours or minutes whit tath constant noise?

  • @juvmol I think my mike magnified the sounds. also when in contact with the window also adds noise like a soundboard.
