this has been my very favorite song since I was very young. I love this video - - and the "FV" graphic art in the background in the beginning - - well I really thought it was a Frank Stella painting. Very cool - thanks for uploading!
Along with "C'Mon Marianne" back with the Four Seasons, this closed their 60's chapter, but what a climax: a song that was done to death by every other lounge singer from the Catskills to Lake Tahoe. Nobody did it better. The guys in "The Deer Hunter" were a runner up.
@80sVideoLord Just been to see Jersey Boys - absolutely brilliant - and discovered that this number nearly didn't get released, then went on to sell more than 3 million copies. If that's what "coke" does to you, I must be consuming the wrong sort! @ all the lovers of this song: it was my great favorite for years after its release, and it now is again a much loved favorite. Go Frankie, go!

Frank did a slow tempo here, which, of course, was good. This was the Michael Douglas show evidently... and interestingly, Mike himself was a singer.
His best song, outside of the Four Seasons.
